Spotlight ON: Joseph Pilla Tamaqua Area Chairman
Joe Pilla was asked to join the Schuylkill United Way Board of Directors one year ago. Pilla is a Nesquehoning native, attended Panther Valley HS, and then went on to Penn State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Planning and Administration. Pilla is President of ETA Benefits, Inc in Tamaqua where he also has a family business known as Skipper Dippers Dairy Bar & Grill in Hometown. He is a member of the Finance Committee for Saint Jerome Parish and a board member of Saint Jerome Regional School. Pilla enjoys fly fishing, boating, and spending time with family and friends at his home in Lake Hauto (Rush Township), where he resides with his wife Louise and three children Anthony, Emily and Abby.
