STB Stuff your Face, Stuff the Bus

In Schuylkill County, July means Stuff the Bus!

The Newhurst Inc. school vans were delivered Monday, July 6 to each of the three local malls.  Once again, for the month of July, now through Friday, July 31, the school vans will be parked inside of the Fairlane Village, Cressona, and Schuylkill Malls ready to collect various school supplies.  Last year over 800 backpacks were collected, stuffed, and distributed to the 15 partner agencies who then provide them to local children and families in need.   This year we hope to collect just as many, if not more! 

In fact, to help kick things up this year, we have added yet another fun and exciting opportunity to Stuff the Bus!  In addition to STB Community Appreciation Day on Tuesday, July 14 from 1:30 to 3:30 PM at the Fairlane Village Mall, we will also host, “Stuff your Face, Stuff the Bus” on Wednesday nights beginning Wednesday, July 8 and running through the end of the month.   From 5:00 to 9:00 PM, Roman Delight will donate 10% of the evening's proceeds to the Schuylkill United Way to help purchase backpacks.  PLUS, beginning at 6:00 PM, join us for a movie in the mall theater. 

Admission to the movie is free with a school item donation to "Stuff the Bus!"   Talk about the ultimate Dinner & a Movie to benefit a GREAT cause!
