The Schuylkill YMCA is a full-service facility with over 1,800 members of all ages throughout Schuylkill County.
Our Open Doors Financial Aid Policy guarantees that no one will ever be turned away due to inability to pay.
Youth Programs:
- Summer Day Camp program for children ages 5 to 12 in five locations is the largest in the county.
- After-school Adventure provides childcare for elementary students after school every day.
- Youth sports programs for ages 4 to 12 provide skill training and character-building in a variety of activities including soccer, basketball, and track and field.
- Y Discovery Early Childcare program offers 10 classes for parent and child ages 5 months to 5 years.
Adult Programs:
- State-of-the-art Fitness Center boasts over 30 pieces of cardiovascular, free weight, and strength-training equipment, including a core strengthening area and over eight aerobics classes for all skill levels.
- Wellness programs for people of all ages help build positive health habits and a sense of well-building with services like blood pressure screenings, nutrition coaching, breast cancer support group, and more.
- Silver Sneakers program provides free Y fitness membership and classes for qualifying seniors.
