Following the retirement of longtime Executive Director, Mr. Clare Houser, the Board of Directors appointed Kelly K. Malone to the position of Executive Director in 2004.  While Kelly's first year as Executive Director proved to be a busy one, it also proved to be highly successful as the agency well surpassed its goal. Kelly began her career with the Schuylkill United Way in 1992 as the Secretary-Bookkeeper and assumed the position of Director of Community Relations in 2000. William joined the Schuylkill United Way as the Director of Community Relations at the end of February 2012. He is responsible for marketing strategies, communications, developing and maintaining good agency relations, raising community awareness, and helping to plan the annual fundraising campaign.  William is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport and Recreation Management and a Minor in Business Management. William is a Blue Mountain graduate and a lifelong Schuylkill County resident and is excited to continue his career with the Schuylkill United Way along with becoming a part of the nonprofit community.  William currently resides in New Ringgold.   Click here to contact William

Terri Conville started her position as the new Administrative Director at the Schuylkill United Way on September 19, 2012.  She is responsible for general administrative duties and helping to promote United Way’s cause. Terri grew up in St. Clair, Pa. and currently resides in Cumbola with her husband, Robert, and their son Ryan.  Her goal is to help the Schuylkill United Way “Make a Difference” in Schuylkill County. With a staff of just three full-time employees, the Schuylkill United Way has an administration cost that is less than 17%.  Compared to any other like size non-profit in the state of Pennsylvania, it is well below the average administration cost of 25%.  The Schuylkill United Way is dedicated to giving back to the community through monthly allocations to the 15 partner agencies that serve Schuylkill County residents at little or no charge. 

Every dollar raised in Schuylkill County stays in Schuylkill County.

The Schuylkill United Way is governed by its own individual bylaws, constitution, and code of ethics. 

While United Way Worldwide and United Way of Pennsylvania provide branding and support services, it is the 30-member Board of Directors who are dedicated to providing funding, guidance, and encouragement to the 15 partner agencies that provide programs and services to residents of Schuylkill County for little to no charge.  Board members and officers are comprised of businessmen and women who live and work in Schuylkill County and the immediate surrounding area.  All board members volunteer their time and are elected for a term of three years and can serve two consecutive terms.  Regular meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 4:00 PM.
