Following the retirement of longtime Executive Director Clare Houser, the Board of Directors named Kelly K. Malone to the position in 2004. While Kelly's first year as Executive Director proved to be busy, it also proved to be highly successful as the agency surpassed its goal.
Kelly began her career with the Schuylkill United Way in 1992 as secretary-bookkeeper and assumed the position of Director of Community Relations in 2000.
Kelly resides in Orwigsburg with her husband Michael and their daughter Katie. |

Tarah joined Schuylkill United Way in April 2008 as Community Relations Director. She is responsible for developing and maintaining good agency relations, raising community awareness and helping to plan the annual fundraising campaign.
Tarah has a strong grasp on public relations and is thrilled to be part of the non-profit community. She sincerely looks forward to being an active leader while serving the community in Schuylkill County.
Tarah resides in Ashland with her husband Jonathan and their 7 month old son Riley. |

The Schuylkill United Way is governed by a 30-member Board of Directors consisting of business men and women who live and work in Schuylkill County. Our bylaws, constitution and allocation process are all decided strictly by this Board of Directors which acts independently from any other United Way.
