Every year, Schuylkill United Way runs various events to help Partner Agencies achieve their goals and support the citizens of Schuylkill County.
UNITED We Dine Week
Friday, September 11 – Sunday, September 20 – When at a participating restaurant, simply enjoying your meal, ordering featured specials, or making an optional extra donation helps support over 86,000 local community members every year.
What’s better, is when you dine at a participating restaurant during UNITED We Dine Week, not only does a portion of the proceeds from your meal go directly to Schuylkill United Way, but you’re also supporting a local business, and the people it employs.
Remember, 98.5% of funds raised stay right here in Schuylkill County, helping our local partner agencies provide critical services like emergency shelter, after-school childcare, job training, family support, and more.
Captain Jason B. Jones Memorial Day of Caring
Friday, May 8, 2026 – Volunteer for a county-wide day of service helping our Partner Agencies and other organizations with some indoor and outdoor projects. Start time is 9 AM.
High School Football Challenge
Tuesday, June 16, 2026 – Cheer on your favorite high school football team as they compete in a series of strength, agility, speed, and skill challenges! Held at North Schuylkill High School’s Ghosh Orthodontics Field at Spartan Stadium, you can visit with all of our Partner Agencies, sponsors, and the food trucks! Competitions begin at 5 PM.
Stuff the Bus
July 31 & August 3, 2026 – Throughout July, local businesses and organizations help collect school supplies and backpacks for Schuylkill County students. Get involved and give our children a strong start to the school year!
SUW-Hometown Golf Tournaments
Summer Golf Tournament – Friday, June 26 at 9am.
Fall Golf Tournament – Friday, September 25 at Noon.
The Schuylkill United Way-Hometown Golf Tournaments will be held at the Mountain Valley Golf Course in Barnesville.
Campaign Breakfasts
SUW Kick Off Breakfast: Friday, September 11 – Food served at 8:15am. Program begins at 8:30am.
SUW Appreciation Breakfast: Friday, November 13 – Food served at 8:15am. Program begins at 8:30am.
Both SUW breakfasts will be held at St. Nick’s Hall in Primrose.
